The Swimming Championships (of various types) are held either in open waters in the sea or at the Riccione Swimming Stadium, where the most important events of swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and lifesaving swimming are held.
Playhall - Riccione Sports Hall
The Riccione sports centre also features the Palazzetto dello Sport (Riccione Playhall) a few meters from the Swimming Stadium. It is a multipurpose facility that hosts various indoor championships such as fencing championships, martial arts championships (expecially taekwondo, judo and karate), dance events and wheel sports events are held there.
A few steps from the Riccione Playhall there is the Federal Squash Center and Tennis Club Riccione. Both host national and international competitions throughout the year.
